I would have to say that this resort is pretty close to top notch. I would have given the resort 5 stars but it had some downsides that my family and I agreed on. First, let me say that this is a great place to stay if you have young ones and love Sesame Street. There were 4 of us traveling, 2 adults/ 2 teens (16,18). Even if you have teens this place is not all that bad. The resort was seated right on the beach and the view was fantastic. My only negative review would be the choice in Food and the beds. The food at the buffets was not all that bad, their breakfast is excellent and the different themes they have each day for lunch and dinner is excellent as well. The only bad restaurant that we encountered was Neptunes (Seafood). The wait was long to sit and to be served and the choices were very limited. Our biggest complaint was the beds. They were small and very hard. If you love sleeping on hard beds than this wont bother you.
What I learned on this trip:
- The bus ride from the Airport is 2 hours, be prepared. You are greeted at the terminal by Beaches/Sandals and have a waiting area were you can indulge in some adult beverages, Red Stripe/Sodas. Be warned there is only 1 stop on the way to the resort and it takes about an 1hr to get there. Dont drink to much.
- The big one, while tipping is not allowed or needed on the resort you will need to bring money with you to tip the locals that help you out during your stay, etc.. carrying luggage, bus driver, if you go on any excursions, the guides that help you. This is not mandatory but once you arrive and realize how helpful they are you will want to tip. Dollars are preferred, no need to exchange dollars.
- Didn't have to much luck with buying our excursions online. The resort had a hard time finding them. I recommend purchasing them there. If you are staying about a week they will work with you to find a trip for you.
- The SPA is way overpriced for what they offer. Booked a couples message, not worth the price. Wouldn't do it again.
- If you plan to snorkel, scuba or ride the glass bottom boat you are asked to sign up the day before. Go early because they book up quickly. You will not be able to sign up the same day. I recommend showing up and waiting on standby there is always room for you.
- I highly recommend SNUBA diving if you dont dive. Dont need to get certified but you can dive up to 20ft and breath underwater. AWESOME experience. Go see Ms. Judy at the Aqua Center, she is very helpful.
- Lastly, SUNBLOCK SUNBLOCK SUNBLOCK. I saw to many lobsters there, not worth the sunburn on the first day. You will be miserable the rest of the trip. Also you dont need to bring beach towels they have them there for you.

OVERALL, GREAT PLACE TO VISIT. I WOULDNT MIND COMING BACK, WORTH THE STAY. HAVE FUN AND IRIE, NO PROBLEM MON.
