I bought a groupon for my stepson to get his open water cert. We went in, got the materials, and were told he could come take the test when he is ready and they will put him in a class. After almost a year I called to schedule the test before the expiration of the certificate. When the person on the phone asked me if my stepson was ready, I responded honestly that he could use more time but the certificate was expiring so we'd give it a shot. He told me not to worry, that since we'd already redeemed the certificate, he could have as long as he needed to prepare for the test. Today we went to schedule the test and were told that we'd have to pay $100 more since the groupon expired. I'm not sure if a policy changed or if whoever I spoke to provided wrong information, but I certainly will not be returning to this establishment.
