My wife and I had been to the Dilworthtown Inn, West Chester, PA several times in the past and were eager to have dinner there once again. We were staying at The Inn at Grace Winery at the time. (Another delightful place.) When we got to the restaurant Thursday evening, July 21, 2016, we were greeted like old friends. Dinner was wonderful; I had the Atlantic salmon, and my wife had the halibut. Service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. As we were leaving we struck up a conversation with the owner, Jim Barnes. When we asked about one of the fireplaces, he treated us to a great history lesson and some behind the scenes looks at that beautiful, historic inn. He truly takes pride in the Dilworthtwon Inn. We look forward to a return visit.
