After two full days of stressful travel, I was hoping for a hassle free, relaxing experience. Instead I found myself in what felt like a dark and dingy college campus-like setting with a dirty room and thin walls. Multiple buildings spread across a sprawling and confusing campus of buildings made it easy to get lost, rooms looked tired and worn, while I could hear just about every conversation and toilet flush in the rooms adjacent to mine.

Here are the details: upon returning from dinner, I noticed the outer door lock was broken (see photo). After a phone call to the front desk, I was then moved to another room down the hallway with front row seats to the sidewalk and passers by. This new room wasn t just lacking privacy, it was extremely noisy and had somehow experienced some significant wear and tear. I can t imagine the hotel is old enough for this level of beating, so perhaps maintenance is an issue. Overall, for what my company is paying I m very disappointed. I come to Boston fairly regularly for work and will be searching elsewhere next trip.

Editing to say: I kid you not, just tried to shower and the shower head popped right off into my hand. Water spraying everywhere. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express on a recent cross country road trip a few months back and it was a more pleasant experience than this.
