Hotel Palm Beach y Apartamentos Don Jorge, Benidorm Reviews

A towering tower where you can feel what it is like to live in a dizzying building with a pool, 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed for our 3 children in our photography visit for Google. Everything works correctly. It has air conditioning, iron, microwave, oven, refrigerator, ceramic hobs, bone 100% complete. The stunning views. The only thing you have to get used to is waiting for the elevator since although there are 3 they are like 35 floors high. You can use all the facilities of the hotel palm beach, swimming pools, gym, etc., which has been a very pleasant visit. There are also many tourists from all over, the British predominate. Parking and reception is guarded 24 hours. Our experience has been positive.

Stayed here for 4 nights apartments are very spacious and was quite surprised would definitely stay here again only complaint is WiFi.

Very good value for money, amazing views we were on flat 23 overlooking the sea and all of Benidorm, we were able to use all the facilities of the palm beach hotel in the same way as those who were staying in the hotel.
It is 10 minutes walk from the beach.
The only thing that would improve are the beds, the sofa bed is horrible and the apartments are cleaned on top, but they were not bad. We will be back for sure !!!!

We have just been 8 days with a family with 3 children, the overall stay has been good, the small but quiet apartment pool, most of the day in the shade, and the Palm Besch hotel pool great !!! <br /> Almost every day queues for lunch and dinner for half an hour. <br/> Large dining hours, rich and varied food, very friendly dining room staff. <br/> There is a free mini bus that you Go down to the beach, pass every 15 min and take you from the beach to the hotel, but you have to wait a long time and the last trip is at 7:30 p.m., so you have to climb a good slope or pay a taxi. <br/> Parking around the area is not as easy as they put it to me, there are parking lots but small and everything is always busy. <br/> And worst of all are the elevators, the building has 34 floors and 5 apartments per floor, when there are arrivals from guests the hall is full of people waiting for the elevators that do not go down any but daily horrible bone, you find flush with the problem of the elevator, it is almost impossible to take them, either because they do not work or because they walk on the floors and do not come down or stop, we were on the fifth floor and well ......... but if it is your turn above, it is a very serious inconvenience, in fact today we have had to lower our luggage up the stairs since it has been once again impossible to take an elevator.

Good apartments but the beds are awful and only one mirror

Avoid if you ve a kids.if you need reception, pool or bar you need walk dawn to palm beach hotel. Tv didnt work. The only one thing you can do ...get drunk

Very nice people, the apartment floor 28the super bad cleaning, is more I asked the cleaner to leave me just one. I told her to leave a rag that in the freezer I burst a can and she said yes, and if I want to leave the cloth or clean it. Otherwise everything is fine

An unfortunate place, where for 2 days we went and wanted to bathe, we had to go to a hotel next door because they didn't have an open pool, which they didn't inform me. The last straw is that when they check they tell us that we have to take the garbage which was closed and in bags or they do not return the deposit.

Although it has been a pleasant stay the checkin was appalling: we found the room with a dirty pillow and the sofa bed with a used sheet and remains of fries. We had to call three times to come and clean it (already at night the first day).

The accommodation is very good, the only distance from the beach is more than 15 minutes, since the return is very steep.

The sofa is awful, lack of cleaning ... Oily coffee maker was disgusting, everything was very sticky..the waiting in the infinite elevators ... the only good thing the views and the entrances to aqualandia

A great holiday, the new apartments, equipped, very clean, with a huge terrace and spectacular views of Benidorm and the Levante and Poniente beaches.
Very nice staff, from reception, cleaning, waiters, children's entertainment ... in full board you eat at the Palm Beach Hotel, the food is good, they do not stop restocking until the last minute and the price of the drinks is very reasonable.
There is free parking in the basement of the buildings and a bus service to the beach to avoid the slope, the drivers are very friendly and professional.

Nice modern spacious apartments, very clean and every amenity you can think of from a kettle to a washing machine in the room, staff really friendly and approachable, comfy beds & two bathrooms in the 2 bed apartments which came in very handy being in the same room with friends!. Only down side to this hotel is the lack of facilities in the actually hotel itself, and the pool isn't much to be desired and having to go into the hotel next door for literally everything. Which at night is a bit daunting due to the fact one night we could hear someone being mugged outside the hotel. The walk down to the front isn't bad at all takes 10-15 minutes not rushing. We just got taxis back up which only cost 4 -5 , But their is a free bus that runs back and forth every 15 minutes until around 7pm. The food served in Palm Beach is beautiful, something for everyone. Yes they cater more for the Spanish but it is a Spanish hotel in Spain at the end of the day and I personally really liked it. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would like to thank everyone at both Don Jorge and Palm Beach for being so accommodating

Little out of the main street but shuttle bus every 15 minutes which is free .about 6 to get a taxi .Local super market.

Nice little staff and I was two weeks ago and the Buffet leaves a lot to be desired.

Very basic no travel cot for my 5 month old daughter balcony doors don't lock and handles walking towards room are broken and lift area very untidy however clean room very basic not maintained. Pool closed have to use sister hotel however when approach sister hotel regarding anything they don't want to know. Wouldn't stay again but know for next time no reception no bar or snack area on site

It is a very complete holiday complex. Pools, entertainment, bar, but it is full of drunk and noisy guiris. It is located on a slope, the Rincon de Loix, the descent to the beach is fast, but the turn becomes very steep ..

The apartments are very practical and comfortable, they are beautiful but they are somewhat neglected, today we have been more than half an hour out with the suitcases because it was off the hook and did not open. And so several details.

The worst hotel I have ever been to.
In the room I was in with my family, the sofa bed was damaged and they had to change rooms, apart from the beds being uncomfortable.
We have lost beach towels in the room.
And finally, when we went to eat in benidorm with the car we saw that the glass on the top of the car had been broken. Never come to this apartment hotel, it is the worst.

I stayed here last week and I did really enjoy my stay. The kitchen staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Good variety of food. Apartments were cleaned every day with bed sheets changed every day. Security was always there so felt at ease. Was put on a lower floor with my two children so that was good. Would of liked the outdoor pools to be open but probably would of been too cold. The indoor pool was good and heated but wearing a cap was uncomfortable. Park and a kids area inside to play which was good. Hills a bit steep but great exercise.

Residents seem to mainly be stag and hen parties, so I suggest this probably isn't the most appropriate place for families. It is also at the top of a fairly steep hill, so also not really suitable for those with impaired mobility. The rooms are large, but the facilities are minimal. There is a small pool, which was closed for most of the time I was there and some vending machines on the grpund floor. Fortunately, guests can make use of the facilities at the Palm Beach Hotel next door, which has much more facilities and a good pool and poolside bar.

Apartment with nice views but 15 min walk to the beach but back is only the climb very tiring noisy with english and english and the lifts too much expectation. On the 18th floor there is 32 floor. But very pretty and lively city.

We booked 2 apartments (4 people per apartment) and we had to leave 600 euros deposit, we saw it too excessive for 1 day we were. The reason was for being more than 6 people. My advice is that you reserve the apartments separately

I do not put more stars for the state of conservation of the apartments. Sticking bathroom door, hanging door handles, bad mattresses, unreliable balcony railing. To spend one night and that's it. Very good views and the tickets included is great within the price they have. If they put more effort into maintenance it would be a good accommodation

3rd year we come to the Don Jorge apartments !! The best of Benidorm in value for money. Good views and good rooms. You can go down to the beach in a bus provided by them and use the facilities of the Palm Beach hotel. We will repeat !!!!

Good apartments. Very clean, got new towels daily and great view from our room 13th floor. Great space for 4 people and a good size balcony. The apartments even come with a washing machine. Only down side is the hill. It s ok to walk down but after a night out you will need to get a taxi back. Specially a girls who wears heels. The pool is small for the size of the hotel but you can use the hotel next door (hotel palm beach) overhall cant go wrong if you go as a group of 4.

Only good thing was a buffet and transfer to the beach. The first room was in really bad condition, dirty bed linen etc. Reception staff give it to us two different rooms, one of them same bad condition, third one a bit better but still no cleaning service whole week, the same bed linen... Etc

Pleasant surprise, I did not know what I was going to find after reading some comments.
We had the part on the first floor a detail for the vertigo that I have ...
The woman of super friendly reception ... when we arrived they had not done the cleaning of the apartment and immediately warned to come to do it.
It is very well equipped ... there is a washing machine, stall, iron ... pool and you can use all the facilities of the hotel next door.
No noise ... that was what we feared I do not know if it will be because we were on the first floor but nothing has been heard.
The breakfast is made at the hotel right next to it. There is too much and it is normal if you go to peak hours.
The truth is that we liked it without a doubt volveremooss !!

$300 deposit. Really ridiculous and dirty was told at reception I have to wait up to a week for my deposit to come back into my account and yet they take it straight out

Fantastic view at the top. ( don t look down vertigo sufferers) . Clean. No issues apart from the bathroom door was loose. Love reading the one star reviews. Who takes kids Benidorm? Your own fault if you asked me. It s the same reason you don t take kids to Blackpool in the UK. Slept from 6am to 9am like a dream.

Had a great weekend at a hen party , however on the sunday having checked out for a couple of hours , I realised I had left some money in a drawer in the apartment. I went straight to reception at palm beach to ask if it had been handed in. The receptionist said the room had already been occupied again and if I wanted to go and ask new occupants if my money was there. I asked why the cleaners would not have handed it in , to which she replied why would they. ..... not great after service.

The spectacular views, the apartment very well, although the heating was not very good, for my taste they could change the mattresses, kitchenware, good cleaning, friendly and attentive friendly staff.
you can use the hotel facilities. Sesupone that you can not enter until 17:00 but we call to see if we could enter earlier and we had no problem. The departure time is at 10: 00, it could be later. We will definitely be back soon.

Nice apartment but not very good if you have walking difficult ability

I have been coming to these apartments for several years, and this last time, I have seen him more careless than usual. It was not very clean, the doors of the dining room closet half disassembled, there was a leak in the bathroom, and a black spot on the thermostat that you could not see well at what temperature it was ... I was disappointed . What I liked is that there is now a security guard, and he told us that in case of any problem or scandal, do not hesitate to call a phone number that they indicated.

Great place for the money. Could do another mirror as four adults sharing and only one mirror in the bathroom . Other than that very happy with our stay once again

Cant fault the hotel rooms they was perfect. Where do I start two weeks of hell!! glass bottles and cups being chucked into lobby from 32 to
where we stand for lifts couldn't go in the pool area as there was stuff being chucked from balconies! Lit cigarettes missing my kids...you tell staff they didn't do much it does state no hens and stags but yet full of them. Definitely not for families or children. Parties until 5am shouting from balconies yet we have to suffer and staff do nothing first time to benidorm never ever again. Absolutely awful the area of the hotel and streets are filthy dog pooh everywhere people have we'd all over paths walls just filthy

Stayed on 8-15 November hotel was basic and clean but we only had one pillow each and had to double it over not much bedding ect the cleaners done a good job but they never locked our door properly so we had to report it I wouldn't book again because of the walking distance and i had to get taxis each night getting back because of the steep hill we had a good holiday but it's no good for people with disabilities but apart from that it was a ok

We stayed in donjour apartments in Jan 2018 they was spotless in apartments everything you could ask for even a washer clean towels everyday bed sheets changed made up you also get to use the facilities in palmhotel next which the hotel was amazing clean the only down fall we had they don't have pool outside open no use of the sports facilities outside and French over take the other down fall the dreaded hill but we walked up everyday not to bad but hotel do give you free bus tickets also I would recommend the Yorkshire pride for food excellent just down hill on right and rays fish chips main street excellent good old jive the rockroll house brill

Hello, this is our first year in the apartments, we have been my wife myself, and my two children, we did not like to be told that they had (free parkin for clients) and when we arrived, it is as if they did not have so if they have about 45 seats, and there are 150 cars to park, it serves little and in our case nothing, because we had to park away and carry the two small girls to the apartments,
-the food: a very poor and repetitive buffet, because we spent 5 days and it was almost always the same at dinners and meals, we must eat and dine very soon or it is almost impossible to enter the dining room,
-Pool: full of people .. impossible to take a beach or a place to relax ,,,
Well with this saying that we will not go back,
Well the cheap does not turn out to be what we thought it would be.

The apartment is great. Fairly wide space. Equipped kitchen It has a small laundry room Large terrace. Large bathroom with bathtub. There are 34 floors and has 4 elevators. One of them is panoramic but the views are to the mountain.
My experience in February was two broken elevators and long waits to make use of the elevators. The accessibility is fatal is in a quite high cost. Meal services are made at the Palm beach hotel. They are very close but the access is very uncomfortable with the slopes.

Everything in itself, the bad thing is the receptionist called Ana who is worth nothing to be in front of the public, they only have rules, for the little that the apartment is worth. We took it online and when we arrived we found out that we have to leave 150 deposit .. well in the end we leave it, but for the return 5 days later, embarrassing, and on top of that I come with a backache due to the mattresses they have, the staff Perfect pool and security too, I don't know if we'll be back

Never again! Totally dirty, cleaning lady does not clean, empties out only garbage. Towels are not always changed. Very loud. Everything is dirty and dusty. 30 min waiting time for the lifts. Bed almost falls apart, nasty single beds, totally uncomfortable and squeaks. The couch is an impertinence! Broken, dirty and stinks! You can not sit on it without sinking into it. Catastrophe! Little German TV station. Reception rude, do not smile. No Wi-Fi in the room available. Not recommendable!!

Horrible, not recommended. Queues to enter the dining room for more than 1 hour, and k is shared with the hotel, small dining room for many rooms, very dry and sparse treatment, and the cleaners entered us at 9 o'clock in the morning without warning and with the key put from inside of the room. I had to file a claim for everything, but the weekend with my wife is already lost.

Couple with 1 child of 2 years. Great. Lunch at the Palm Beach 4 stars. Varied, very kind and affectionate people. You have free covered parking, A kiss of this family of Palencia. It's the 2 time we come and we'll repeat for sure

Avoid Avoid Avoid. Here at the moment and unable to sleep hotel my be great but avoid the apartments at all costs. Got a party going on above my head in the middle of the night and no one is doing anything about it they just don't care. Complained nothing's happened half way through holiday so what has so far been great is becoming ruined. Two children with me Won't be coming back.

They have executed an unfair deposit of 150 for leaving the keys placed inside the apartment

I feel it would be extraordinary if the cleaning was normal is a big fault

Apartment was basic but ok. Had washing machine, ironing board and iron. Downside is that there were groups of Spanish boys throwing objects including eggs and yoghurt cartons off of their balcony into the pool area. Security were good and shut the pool. When we told reception who it was they were on it and said they would deal with it which they did.

The pressure of the water on the 8th floor is perfect, when there is water. The apartment fell a bit to chunks, we noticed when we opened the door when we dropped the handlebar, tricky business and they charge 150 euros bail in case something breaks ... The elevators deserve a separate chapter: 4 but sometimes it does not work at all and it's time to go down / up (if you're on the 34th floor ...) The pool is fine. Apartments plagued by drunken English youngsters who have ruined our weekend. Site of low price and high height.

Our opinion cannot be worse, when the girl at the reception of the apartments arrived told us that the deposit of the two reserved apartments is double what was indicated going from 150 to 300, we commented that we did not agree with the change in the contractual conditions and that we should reflect it in a sheet of official claims, their response was that if so, they would cancel our reservations and we would stay in the street (12 people). We had no choice but to go through the hoop ... IT HAS NEVER BEEN TREATED IN A SO CHULESCA AND THREATENING WAY IN MY LIFE.

Great hotel with views to die for and we were on the 34th floor very helpful staff and cheep as well

They have 4 elevators and they work 2 ..
The display puts an overload, and people get under pressure ... as they are foreigners it must be that they do not understand.
There is no security and the English people, who are almost all, work at ease, drunk and mocking.

The only views ..
The rest, leaves much to be desired.

Family of 4 stayed the don jorge for 2 weeks bnb first off all I could of booked a 2 star In a lot of places that would be 5 star in comparison we new we had to get the keys at the palm beach and we new it was on a hill only thanks reviews?had are breakfast there (palm beach)it was lovely and big choice fresh daily the in door sauna and pool was great the weather great but that's about it the don Jorge was like flats all the family in the corner great view but only if you stand up because of the big wall the lifts were a joke waiting 20 minutes some time cleaners use the same lifts nightmare COCAINE weed ALCOHOL #benidorm ruff and ready spitting off the balcony banging doors given alcohol away basically seen people in some right states if you go the beach nothing like that but it is out there had a great time and you can get some nice weed and cheap football tops/ clothes lol but other countries are super friendly happy but not the Spanish rude miserable people only guy that borthed with me turned out to be Romanian absolutely quality guy hahaaa benidorm try it for self everybody's different we still had a great time just no sleep lool

Wouldn't come here again the apartment was ok clean enough but we were on the 17th floor and walking along the corridor the window was borded up so if someone was to accidentally lean against it but let's hope it's fixed now,this was last August,and slightly annoying if you were trying to have a bit of a lie in cleaners knock knock and also that's one hell of a steep hill in the August heat

We booked our apartment and they told us that we had the same conditions as the hotel and when we got there for nothing, we could use the facilities but the entrances to the mythical Terra and sea world did not enter us .. The queue to enter the dining room was one waiting time
And poor cleaning apartments. .. A mini vacation disaster. . . I do not recommend it for anything of the worst of benidorm. ....

We are here right now. It's 22: 12h. Do not stop slamming doors and shouting the guiris. They are worse than animals. Scandalous and drunk. The two nights passed at 4.00 in the morning idem. Now the carpenter giving blows fixing the door 1E. Pathetic the stay. If you want a minimum of peace, forget about this group of hotels. My worst long experience.

We stayed for 10 days on the 24th floor family of 4 with one room view of benidorm and just fallen !!! The staff and very nice the apartment was top a passage every day the maintenance staff, the only concern we have not thought that to make the outputs or returns must be put in mind waiting for the elevators these always galley in addition we had one down ... but these an experience that we will renew in the future

The friendly staff, huge free parking, 10 minutes walk to the beach, you can also go down the beach in a van from the Hotel Palm Beach, the very nice driver, you can enjoy the pool of the apartments or the Hotel Palm Beach, where also in the latter you have a gym, indoor pool, shows and music, it has a space for children with a park and a cheerleader who paints their faces with them and colors at night ... THANK YOU MAR ...
FOOD fast entry, all good and varied but with very little salt, all with a lot of hygiene and very attentive employees.
Cleaning the floors is NOT the best pity
One day I had my bed made and not my children's? We have been to 22A and it had two fantastic toilets for 5 people.
Very nice fantastic views of the sea and when you criticize the 4 elevators, you don't expect that much either.
IN GENERAL EVERYTHING VERY GOOD ... we will return and recommend 5

The hotel is very good also very good views and the best thing they give you tickets to the parks for free I recommend it for everything
