I was an animal control officer in Colorado for 10yrs. We encouraged spay/neuter and pet licensing. Scraps is a money hungry cold hearted facility. I just adopted a retired search and rescue dog and have already spent $400.00 on getting things done and updated. Hr will be neutered when we have the money for it but to charge people $53 for a license is sickening. He is safe and healthy and I will never license him for that ridiculous amount. There supposed to help people stay current on animal laws not sabotage them. They just want more donations for their desks and office supplies cause they defenatly don't use it for up keep for the animals or helping and educating the public on laws and saftey. SCRAPS is a disgrace!
