This was my second stay at a Comfort Suites. My first stay, in Wilkes-Barre Twp, PA, so impressed me that I decided to stay with the brand for the rest of the trip. The Bethlehem property had all of the elements of a Comfort Suites, but they were poorly executed in my suite. The carpet was ripped, stained, and damp. The non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke. The mattress felt past its service life. The property just had the feel of a 1/2-star motel beside the highway. The lady at the front desk was very nice and knowledgeable about the region. I am continuing to try Comfort Suites for the duration of this road trip, but I would not return to the Bethlehem, PA property.
