My in-laws basement in their land-o-minimum (managed by Towne Properties) flooded over 7 months ago. Their carpet had to be ripped up and the drywall taken down as a result of the several inches of water that accumulated in the basement multiple times. Trying to get their case manager, Sam, to even return a phone call much less moved forward with the repairs, has been a frustrating exercise in futility. They have been unable to host family holidays and gatherings as a result, since the basement is the only area of their home large enough to accommodate the whole family. In all of the times my father-in-law has left messages for Sam since September, Sam has returned his call only once. My in-laws continue to be put off, without any apparent plan or information about when their repairs will take place. They are continued to be told (only through the president of the HOA, since there s no communication from Sam), that they are waiting on the plumbing company. There are certainly other plumbing companies who would be happy to have this business, but evidently Towne Properties either has not thought of that or doesn t care how this is affecting my in-laws and our whole family. I wish I had been able to give Towne Properties a negative rating, as they don t deserve the one star I gave them.
