Andrew Croman Review of Hilton Hotel and Suites Niagar...

The Hilton has become known as a fairly high quality name over the years which is why this visit was such a surprising disappointment.
Let's start with the parking. It's 20 bucks a day to park two blocks away. Upon checking in, I noticed that attention detail and priorities were lacking as one of their main advertisement tvs behind the front desk had a broken panel. From the looks of it, it had been this way for a while. Not the biggest deal but not the best first impression. The room we booked was apparently at the far end of the hall which may have contributed to the next big issue, the air conditioning. The room was especially small (for the price) but not too bad. That was until the AC unit kicked on. There was one tiny vent for the entire room so when the ac kicked on it sounded like a jet was taking off. When attempting to sleep at night it woke me up every single time it kicked on. Not sure if it's just this room and bad construction but the experience was just awful.
Speaking of construction... We had the pleasure of hearing a large structure being put in place directly behind our hotel. Also, the pool and gym were both closed during our stay which made the amenities pointless.
All in all it just wasn't a good experience. With all of the above included, the saving grace was that the staff was friendly and it's location was close enough to the falls that this place earned two stars. I expected much more from a Hilton establishment. Much much more. There are so many other options that unless things drastically improve, there is no chance I'll be staying here again.
