I have not stayed at this resort and will never book here again nor recommend it to anyone! In September I booked a week in April thru Expedia. Unfortunately, I am unable to go now. I called the hotel on March 4th to cancel the reservation and have the first night refunded. The lady was very nice and said yes it was plenty of notice and she could do that. Then she looked at my reservation and said because I booked it thru Expedia I would need to go thru them to cancel. I hung up and called Expedia who told me they would have to get permission from the hotel to refund me. They placed me on hold and called the hotel and said they were told Jessica the manager would have to make that decision and she was not there. I made my 4th phone call today to Expedia and called Jessica myself. I explained my situation as to why I needed to reschedule and Jessica informed me that nobody would have told me they would refund me from the hotel because that is not their policy. Jessica said she would have to contact corporate to see if they would make an exception to refund my $190.00. I asked her for the corporate number and she refused to give it to me. She would only give me an email. I asked her if I would hear from her today as she stated corporate would be quick to answer the email which is why I would not need the phone number. I just called Jessica since it is after 5 and of course she is gone for the day without following up with me. I have never experienced such poor customer service from a hotel before. Not only did she call me a liar but did not follow up with someone that is dissatisfied.
