I've been a Kings Dominion season passholder for years now and the park has gone WAY down. Volcano is permanently broken and still no replacement has been announced. Staff say the Dinosaur Experience is permanently closed because they lost the licensing to it. Yesterday was told there is no fire and some special effects on rides (e.g., Backlot Stunt Coaster) because Kings Dominion will not buy the fuel for the effects! The park has added bars with $10 beers, but to me that is a negative, not a positive; staff talk about drunks starting fights so they ensure the park remains "family friendly" by having more police. Looks like the last year for my buying year-round passes.
