Review of The Chelsea Hotel

I enjoyed my stay here. We didn't spend much time in the hotel or make use of all of the facilities on offer as we were out exploring most of the time.

Parking was plentiful, we charged this to our room and paid on checkout. You have unlimited in and out priveledges as a hotel guest and they charge a daily fee. I can't remember the exact figure but think it was around $25.

There was a long line at check in but it went down pretty quickly. They were handing out free drinks and popcorn in the lobby when we arrived which I thought was a nice touch! There was also a 'party robot' entertaining the line which we personally loved!

The building was huge and could be a little confusing to navigate but we got there. You have to remember which colour elevator to use to get to certain locations.

Our room was clean but was starting to look worn and dated. It was perfectly acceptable however and suited us well for our stay. There was a small balcony which would have benefited from a chair so you could sit out.

Location was good and there were plenty of options for food and drink around. We opted for Dukes Refresher Bar right across the street for a late night meal and couple of drinks which we enjoyed.

I enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back here if I was in the area.
