I'm not that impressed. If you're just wanting to rent a car there, you have to put your own car in paid parking. (Why can't there at least be some remote lot for rental car customers that is free?). Writing on the parking lot fee signs is tiny. You'll be thinking you're parking in the economy lot when really you're parking in the "close-in" lot which is $2 more a day, especially if approaching from Odessa via business route 20/La Force Blvd cause that's where it will dump you out at (the "close-in" lot entrance, not the economy one). It's hotter than blazes out there in the lot, and it seems like with all that revenue made from parking they could put up some canopies or an oleander or creosote bush or something to at least give a few fingerlings of shade, not the blistering tarmac of asphalt that we get. And the public transport option to the airport sucks..zero service on weekends. These things make for bad first impressions...
