This was a nice hotel and the staff were great - very helpful with all/any of our concerns. My only cons are that they were doing some maintenance work we didn't know about until the morning after we checked in. While trying to sleep in, we kept hearing a loud thump/banging coming from outside our room. The construction/maintenance. They did do right by us via upgrading our room and moving us to a different floor away from the construction/maintenance (two big thumbs way up from us) they didn't offer excuses or try to defend what was happening, they just took care of it. The rest of our stay was fairly uneventful and again any questions/concerns/requests were met with immediate answers/actions. They only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is because the walls are soooo thin that you could hear everything the cleaning staff were doing every morning, slamming doors, conversations, vacuuming, etc. So if you like sleeping in on vacation, this is not the hotel for you - if you're a heavy sleeper or early riser that likes a clean hotel, friendly staff and attention to detail? Hotel Lombardy's your spot!
