Very good museum in the base of a huge Soviet style motherhood monument.
Entry is very cheap, around 1,5 $ and it depicts the WWII, mostly in Ucraine, but also in other Soviet republics. There is also a section dedicated to new conflicts in eastern Ucraine.
Do pay 4$ for the outdoor viewing platform at 36 m, excellent 360 views of Kiev.
