A place really has to leave a bad taste in my mout...

A place really has to leave a bad taste in my mouth to deserve a one star review, in that sense Windy City went above and beyond. My main issue here is not set prices for their planes. They have a price list with the "average price paid" for the prior month. Their $700 member fee is a really unnecessary because the "discounted" prices end up being the same as the non-member pricing. I flew in both of their 172 G1000's. They both had little issues that were never fixed. In 38V the seat backrest was always broken and full reclined. Their solution... Give you a pillow to use a backrest. If you are charging top dollar, you should provide great service. To this day, I receive phone calls from Liz asking to come back and fly with them. I couldn't get a sit down with Liz (she was always "busy") to discuss my concerns while I was a student there. There are many flight schools in the area who provide better service for a better price. A quick google search will tell you everything you need to know. Formally known as "Windy City Flyers"
