Its a shame that Taj Falakmuna's reputation is eroded. I organized a pre-paid dinner and tour for my family and due to a lack of coordination within their teams, they billed the guests who where there to celebrate an occasion. It doesn't end there, they sent an email asking for bank details to initiate a refund and its been 10 working days with no refund done. Perhaps their clients are either celebrities or non-Indians. This may explain why middle class guests like us are less or a focus or priority. They still remain a luxury destination for many - but this shouldn't be at the cost of one's dignity. To be at their mercy to get our money back for a fault of the hotel is appalling.
