This museum is one of the most visited museums in the world but this does not mean that it is crowded. There is a system designed to drive traffic there are a limited number of tickets available on a particular day and spots sell out two-three days in advance. Each ticket has an exact entry hour (with 30 minutes delays allowed) with no specified exit time (google information: people spend roughly 1.5 hours per visit). The museum offers multimedia guiding device which I found very useful it helps you dive into the atmosphere straight away. The exhibition has 200+ paintings with some done by other painters.
