Before booking, we did see some reviews stating that the rooms were in bad condition. Some of them even had pictures attached showing moldy carpet, moldy bathroom fixtures, and wet carpet. It did also mention the hats some of the rooms were undergoing a renovation. When I made the reservation I asked them if we could be put in a room that had been renovated because we were coming for a special event and wanted to make it as nice as possible for our anniversary. The hotel rap said that she would put notes are in our account stating our preferences. When we got there, she said there was no notes in the system about what we wanted but that if we wanted to upgrade to a floor that was completely renovated, it would be an extra cost. After causing a little bit of a fuss, she just so happened to have found a room that had undergone a "soft" renovation. We accepted that because we would rather have that than no renovation at all. As we proceeded to our room, we noticed the hallway carpet was terrible and the smell was not so great either. When we opened the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised until my wife peeked into the bathroom and there was long hairs stuck to the floor and bathroom fixtures. We got some tissues and cleaned them up and everything was pretty good until the second morning that they cleaned our room, we were only left one bath towel for four people. We called down and they said they had a towel shortage but would deliver them up when they got them. We returned to our room later that day and they had brought an extra comforter (not requested) but no towels. Had to call back down for the towels. And the last thing is the A/C (or lack of). We had it set at 65 degrees (the lowest it would go) and it never got below 74. Quite miserable to sleep in. Would not recommend this place at all!
