Do not do business with Direct Communications LLC. Please do yourself a favor of taking the dozens of very negative reviews online as well as their F rating on the Better Business Bureau serious. The internet and fiber wire are fine, but their business practices and customer services are absolutely terrible.

My experience - I was a customer for several years. When it take time to discontinue the service due to moving, I went into their office to make sure the cancellation was done properly (there were many bad reviews online I read on them of customers experiencing problems canceling there service - ie., continuing to receive bills).

I cancelled my service at that time and paid all owed in full. I asked the customer rep there several times confirming there was nothing else needed from me (current/future fees, etc.). She assumed me there were none. 3 months later I get a letter in the mail from a collection agency for $100. This included a 'disputed' $50 fee on the account after cancellation, 2 late fee charges applied by the company, as well as a $20 collections fee. I called Direct Communications directly to try and resolve. They said there was nothing to do as this was already sent to collections. No communication was ever sent to me via email, phone, or mail (I provided them my forwarding address upon cancellation) by Direct Communications regarding this.

I don't write reviews often, but do so in order to limit this from potentially happening to another person. Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DIRECT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC.
