We have a Brink Renovent Excellent 400 in our new-build home and I would not recommend this WtW to anyone.
The system not only makes a lot of noise in the 'normal' position, it also connects rooms with each other. In other words, if you are sitting in the living room, you can literally understand what is being said on the 1st floor.
Asked Brink for advice on how to reduce this. But instead of advice I received a referral to a subcontractor because of a 'defect'. Of course I had already done this in 1st instance.
It also took 2 months before any advice was given at all.
The next house has at least no heat recovery unit from Brink.
