I think it's annoying that they do everything possible to strong arm you if you are trying to pay off a balance. Every interaction I've had, to date, has been uncouth. The ivr system doesn't even tell you what their hours are. I mean, it really seems like if they can make anything more difficult for you, they're happy to do that. They often omit information that you may actually need to know. Which ends up doing you harm. I don't know what the experience is like for companies who hire them to collect debts, but I definitely get the impression that they kinda get off on punishing people who made a financial mistake... ESPECIALLY if you're trying to work with them. They suck.
