The work that they are doing here is phenomenal, and I'm so glad we made the journey from Custer to check it out. While the entire staff was friendly, Dr. Mead was exceptional. We had the privilege of meeting him when the staff learned how our daughter was very interested in archaeology. He treated her like the most important person in the room, and was very encouraging. While I recognize that's not a normal part of the experience for most visitors, it shows the level of dedication and hospitality among the staff and volunteers, and we were very grateful.
