What a beautiful place and terrible experience!!!!...

What a beautiful place and terrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was the first time my husband has ever been to the keys and I wanted to show him what a wonderful place it is specially by staying at an "amazing resort". The hotel couldn't find my reservation and took 2 1/2 hours for them to fix the issue. The young lady at the front desk was rude and uncaring. I asked if my child and my husband could enter the hotel and at least take a look at the pool and order something to drink while the issue was resolved and I have never received a more HARSH NO! I explained we had been driving for hours and still a no... by the time the issue was resolved and I was able to get to my room it was close to 6 pm and the sun was almost gone so basically we paid to just sleep as the same person gave me a hard time to get a late check out the next morning which could have been the least she could have done after all I we went through. My experience was a nightmare! I just couldn't wait to get out of this place, I have never felt more unwelcomed in my life. To top it off there were silver fish on our bed. Extremely disappointing.
