I feel like I have had consistently bad enough service and experiences from this place to warrant finally posting a review.

Eating there on a very quiet Monday lunchtime, I was told the avocado sandwich I had ordered was off the menu. As a vegan the choices are limited, so I asked if there was no avocado in the building. I was informed that even if they had avocado and they had bread, they could not and would not prepare me an avocado sandwich.

I then enquired about the dressing on a salad and the waiter asked me what I meant by vinaigrette with a very blank face.

Our drinks finally arrived and my 2 yr old and 5 yr old were given tall thin glass-glasses to drink out of. It was causing a problem for my littlest so I asked at the bar for a plastic beaker or something more suitable for a child to drink from. I was told they had nothing at all, apart from shorter, heavier glasses, which had to do. When I later passed the coffee machine, I saw lo and behold they were using plastic beakers to steam the coffee milk!!! I couldn't believe the stupidity.

Finally, attempting to use the toilet, one toilet seat had been completely ripped off, the other cubicle had no paper. This is on a Monday lunchtime, so clearly no one has checked or restocked the toilets from the weekend. Oh and I forget to mention the broken glass bottles at the front of the pub on the way in.

Really just the typical experience from this place, usual clueless jobsworth service, mediocre food, poor management and upkeep. We only visit the place due to its location and every single time I do I regret it. It's the only reason it has two and not one stars. The management needs to either give it up and pass on to someone else or just pull their socks up basically.
