We stayed in early November 2017. Three families went and I chose rooms for us here because they seemed like a great value (They were the only Disney hotels available under $250 a night). I never write negative reviews but this was just a very disappointing experience. It was our fourth trip to Orlando and the first time staying at a Disney resort. I guess I just had high expectations and was severely let down.

The Good
-Magic Bands are cool! You get them included when you book a Disney hotel.
-The shuttle driver who took us from the airport to the hotel was very friendly and energetic. It was nice to be greeted this way.

The Bad
-Disneys Magical Express luggage services was supposed to deliver our suitcases within a couple hours straight from the airport. We thought this would be great! They delivered half of the luggage after three hours. We called them to ask about the other half and it took an additional couple of hours to get it. Not worth it!
-Checking in to the hotel took OVER AN HOUR!!! We didn t even travel during a peak time! We couldn t do express check in because they delivered our Magic Bands to the wrong address so we were required to do their normal check in. After a long flight and six tired kids in toe, this check in process was a nightmare. Do better Disney!
-Let s be real. This was a motel. Not a hotel. Nothing about it was beyond the standard of a motel except that it had the Disney name on it.
-Rooms are TINY!!!!
-Walls are paper thin. We could hear every time the baby in the room next to ours cried.
-There were frogs in one of our rooms. We had rooms on the ground floor. It was disturbing to share a hotel room with live animals.
-The floors didn t get cleaned. In the three days we stayed there, by day 2 the floors felt grimy.
-We were told the pool gets heated at night. It wasn t. Kids still went in but it was freezing.
-Location of the rooms is far from everything. Far from the parking lot. Far from the main building if you re going to take a shuttle. Be prepared for a lot of walking.

All in all I felt pretty guilty about choosing this hotel for our family getaway. We thought about changing to a new hotel after the first night but we didn t want to waste any more vacation time dealing with the hotel situation. Would not stay in any Disney value resort again! Maybe a Disney moderate or luxury resort is better, but for the price of a value resort, go with one of the many non Disney hotels in Orlando.
