Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons can t reach guests expectations.

This is our second time coming to the Le Manoir. First time was honestly better...
To their credit: the rooms are spacious and pretty well-designed, each room has its own theme.
The surrounding estate and gardens are very charming.
However the first thing to disappoint me - paradoxically - is the food. I have dined in the best restaurants of the world and my standards are very high. Supposedly, Chef s culinary standards are very high, yet Monsieur Raymond Blanc is a bit far from achieving these. From a scale 1 to 10, I would give Raymond Blanc s menu a 7.
We had dinner in the fine dining restaurant, two nights consecutively. Not impressed, rather disappointed.
The pumpkin ravioli and the risotto were the highlights, yet I expected more.

In addition to this, for such high prices per room, this mansion hotel should have a spa and a gym!! They offer spa services in the room from an outside agency: we tried those - not good.
The breakfast food was honestly far better than the dining experience itself.
