Everything about this church is beautiful- it is in this church that you get to view many of the funerary monuments of many of the Italian greats such a Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli! and each monument is just beautiful. Admire everything, the floors, the walls (the frescoes!), and of course the ceiling.

If you visit the official ticketing website 'ticka . santacroceopera . it ' (without spaces) you will see you have either the option of purchasing a ticket with a set date and time, or one that allows flexibility. As expected, the more flexible ticket is a little more expensive. Do not panic (like me) and think you will not be able to visit all that is listed on the admission ticket- while it may seem a lot of places, you will find everything is interlinked with one another. You are also able to purchase tickets on the day- look for the statue of Dante, behind that is the entrance to the church. Remember as you are entering a church to wear appropriate clothing (not too much leg, arms etc.) you will be checked before you go in.
