I stopped in to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery because admission is free throughout 2017. A guided tour was starting just as I arrived. The tour was about 45 minutes and well worth the time as it provided an interesting overview of the canning process and the history of the canning industry in BC. As an added benefit, the cannery is nice and cool because of its position over the river. If you go, I suggest that you time your visit to coincide with one of the free guided tours.
