One of the things we seek out in the summer holidays is things that we can do in a morning, as that allows us to get back home in time for a nap for our youngest.

Church farm is one of those places. It's good value, has lots to see, without walking too far and if necessary you can short cut to get back to the car park quickly.

If the weather is dodgy you can duck into the indoor play area for a bit, it's basic but has some play equipment and toys to keep younger visitors busy for a bit. You can also grab a coffee or some snacks from the cafe to take in there.

The cafe is also very nice. The indoor area is quite tight on space but there are lots of outdoor tables if the weather is okay.

It's all a little rough and ready, but for the cost it's well worth a visit.
