I have never been able to wrap my head around how to do Quick Books with my business, Blast From The Past (mom and pop collectible toy store), since we buy collections (I've started and failed a few times in the past). But then Suzette Van Sleeuwen invited me to a free seminar at Milam, Knecht & Warner (MKW) to show business owners like me how beneficial using Quick Books Online (QBO) can be to a business owner -- even a small business owner like me. I was impressed by all the information I could easily get in their ready-made reports (I'm not an accountant or a bookkeeper, and I've pulled my hair out trying to create these reports by hand when they are needed), and I really liked the at-a-glance dashboard information. This will help me keep my husband up to speed much faster and easier. I was still skeptical about adapting it to the quirks of my business, but Suzette put me at ease and told me how I could start from where I'm at today and use the same categories I use already. She keeps working with me to keep me from getting frustrated when I'm not sure what to do. I am already amazed at how QBO has been able to grab my information from my bank accounts and credit card accounts and enter it for me! That's already a time saver! Thanks Suzette and MKW!!!
