Great staff, great organization, working hard to make a difference in the community through education, inspiration, and action. They are the parent organization of the Avery House Nature Center, which provides nature-based educational opportunities for pre-school aged kids, school aged kids, and adult education as well. The CEC also has their Energize Corvallis Program, which promotes energy conservation in the region. They are partners with the Seeds for the Sol program, which helps residents in the region install solar with financial incentives. The CEC also has their Edible Corvallis Program, which promotes local, healthy food programs in the local schools and through community gardens.
