The zoo was nearly empty on a dreary but mild Tuesday. Some exhibits had already closed for the winter but lots of animals were out and active. Only one area was open for lunch, but crowd was so small there was no wait. Very kind volunteers everywhere engaged our 2.5 and 1 years ago grandchildren who admittedly only wanted to run around. Not the biggest zoo but nice. Hilly so by the end strollers were extra heavy but there is a tram from entrance to the penguin exhibit
