I had a four night stay as part of a large party at the big bowls week, though I don't play myself, and none our group of eight played. We all just went along for the break. The resort itself is fantastic, and always clean and tidy, with plenty of friendly staff around the place. There's always something to do during the day, though some of the activities are quite limited, like the shooting and archery, which are only open at specific times for limited numbers (around 15-20 people) and last around 45 mins. If you miss the time, you have to wait for another session which may not be until the next day. The dining is very good, and you keep the same table throughout your stay. The menu always offers good choices and varies each day. It's a mixture of table and self service dishes. While I was there, our table was looked after by an amazing waitress Georgia, who could take eight peoples orders without writing them down, and still give everyone the right plate first time. Always had a smile and attentive to everyone. For the evening entertainment, the shows are spectacular, and the talent on the stage is amazing. Singers, dancers and musicians are all top drawer. Overall a great place for a short break.
