I'm surprised at the positive reviews this company...
I'm surprised at the positive reviews this company receives. However, when I look at the negative reviews, I share the same issues that some others have had and I believe everybody (even those currently feeling good about this company) should pay close attention to the issues I've had with them.
1. The first dog walker I had quit the company about a month after she began walking my puppy. She quit on June 23rd and I was not told until Monday, June 26th that this happened. I had to scramble to find somebody to replace her for the day (my puppy was 2 1/2 months at the time, luckily my girlfriend was able to take care of him that day.)
2. I replied on the 26th asking if they had anybody to replace the walker for the next day since it was such short notice, but did not get a response until 11:20am on the 27th saying that they could have somebody come by if I still needed them to. By this time I already had somebody else lined up. Without asking if it was ok, they sent somebody over that day anyways and my friend that came over to walk the dog called to tell me there was a stranger in my house. It is not ok with me to send somebody into my house without my approval and without me even knowing about it. However, I will give them the benefit of the doubt because I believe they did it with the best interest of the dog in mind because they wanted to make sure the dog would be able to go outside.
3. After this incident that same friend was able to take care of the puppy for a few weeks until she moved so I let this company know I would not need them for a few weeks. My friend's last day in town was this past Friday, so I decided to give this company a second chance. Big mistake - I contacted them last Thursday and they responded the next day informing me that they lined somebody up for today and tomorrow. I decided to follow up today to see what time the walker would be at my house, and was told that they would not be there and that the manager who scheduled the walk for today and tomorrow had left for paternity leave. If I had not contacted them, this three month old puppy would not have had a walk this morning that he depends on (he's too young to go more than a few hours without needing to potty).
Horrible customer service, horrible management, horrible overall communication. After this happened I do not trust them with my dog and I caution anybody reading this to be hesitant in using this company unless you personally know somebody that works for them.
* I did receive a call from an assistant manager. She apologized and she was definitely sincere. However being apologetic does not make this a trustworthy company.
