Just absolute stunning beauty. It's about 3.4-4hr from Denver and worth the drive. I was there before the summer crowds, so can't really comment on that. However, early spring was not busy at all. Super dark skies for us that love stargazing. It can be really cold and snowy, too since it's at 8000ft-ish. (Visitor center area). So be prepared!
