Today was the first time we had ever been. We were celebrating nana's 95th birthday. My mom had found this place...so we figured we'd give it a go. After reading the reviews we figured we couldn't go wrong...we could've eaten at a standard chain restaurant and been happier. Out of 10 of us, not one was happy enough with the meal to say we'd go back. It's upsetting when all the hype is there from other reviews. I'm not sure if it's because people are into mediocre food, or what. All the meat and seafood meals were either over or under cooked. The food was so-so for sure. When your grandmother celebrates her 95th and wasn't happy with the meal, it's depressing. Needless to say, the best thing we ate was the cinnamon butter and garlic oil. However, with that said, the bread taste like it was from the Price Chopper down the street. I did feel the prices were reasonable. Though, if you don't enjoy your meal, it doesn't much matter. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. They did accommodate us with allowing us to bring in a cake that was nana's fave. That was great. We love to patronize local businesses, this however, is one we won't be back to. The setting was nice and clean. The restroom was clean and had a nice fragrance. The outside was still decorated for the holidays. The greens now all brown and dead. With the mild winter they could have removed then by now.
