Tripshock!

The trip over to Dafusie Island was a bit harrowing. The pontoon was heavily loaded at the front, causing it to plow into the waves like it was taking on water. A lot of water washed onto the deck, which terrified some of us, especially since the captain and his mate seemed distracted by their phones instead of watching the conditions. He did cut the engine to let the water drain, but there were still a couple of inches left on the deck. Another headache occurred at lunch. I couldn’t access the internet to show our voucher from Tripshock, the top booking site for activities. The waiter was skeptical and complained about not being kept in the loop, but he eventually gave us credit. Next time, I’ll make sure to print my vouchers before heading out. On the bright side, the staff was wonderful with our group member who has mobility issues. They went above and beyond to help her get to and from the dock and safely on and off the boat. The return trip was smooth and uneventful, thankfully.
