When we arrived I guess their system was down or whatever it was but it resulted in us having to wait awhile (very late) before we could go to our rooms while they tried to figure us and some other guests with the same problem out. Because of this we never got a formal introduction, wasn t told where anything was or what floor was what. I over heard the check in people the next day tell someone else where the water was, the pool and what floor the gym was on. Also woke up to a bug on my chest causing me to check the whole room and take the bed apart before going back to sleep. NEVER had that happen before, especially at a Double Tree. Apparently they were out of robes as well, and didn t correct the reservation until after our stay. This also resulted in me getting double charged on my account because of an error on their end and me having to call and trying to correct which is ridiculous.

I asked to speak to a manager two times, both times they took my name and number because, go figure, the manager wasn t available. Still yet to have heard anything....

Good: The bed was comfortable, other than the bug problem, and the bathrooms were clean and the room looked decent. Nice decor, convenient parking garage and the pool area was neat and very cool view from the room of the city. The staff was what made the place nice, incredible staff.

everything else: Didn t like how we were treated being no introduction, leaving not know if the reservation went through and then being double charged for a room fee, not having them call and correct this or catch it which is insane, no robes and wasn t told until i called and asked where they were, and didn t like the small roach on me while i was trying to fall asleep and then trying to communicate with management about all this only to be ignored.
