This is a potentially helpful community resource IF you fall within very specific category. If you or someone you know is a harm to themselves or others, you'll likely benefit from their services. If you have an extreme situation, you might benefit from their services. If you're looking for resources (names, numbers, appointments) for circumstances that are not extreme, they may not be able to help.

The problem with this place is that they do a phone screening and if you don't pass the phone screening, you're not eligible for services. The phone screening is only a few questions and if your issue isn't deemed to be significant enough, you likely won't qualify for help (and by help, I don't mean financial help or free help, I mean the ability to be scheduled with certain specialists, many of whom you can only get an appointment with by using this service).

If you tell them that you need SOMEONE to call, they will give out some phone numbers to people who can supposedly help you, but when I called the numbers (and I called EVERY SINGLE ONE), they ALL referred me back to the MCCMHA telling me that only MCCMHA can schedule appointments with them. When I called MCCMHA back, they reiterated that my circumstances don't qualify (because they're not significant enough).

I gave 3 stars, because if you or someone you know is a danger to themselves or others, you should definitely call.
