I have recently started working here and am very pleased thus far with everything that I have seen. I am especially grateful that Molly Rosneck (HR Recruiter) was willing to hire an individual with "special circumstances" such as myself. I had no manufacturing experience prior to working here and it has been very good so far. The training I have received from the Trainers here has been excellent. They are patient and supportive and really have made me and the other trainees feel welcomed and counted as part of the team. They have a pre-shift informational rally at the beginning of every shift and our particular leader (CJ) frankly could inspire a corpse! She excels at inspiring solidarity and is a talented leader on third shift. The various departments that I can comment on (that I have had contact with) all have been super. The direct deposit and tax info packet all was processed efficiently with no errors or headaches, the hiring wage was very competitive to the area for sure and overall the first portion of my employment has been as good as one could hope for. The safety protocols are especially sharp here at this particular plant and leads to a safe and productive work environment. For any potential employee I will say that in my humble opinion this is a place that pretty much anyone would be pleased to work at. There is the availability of overtime which is nice for someone like me who needs money desperately! You must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time which for me is not a problem but may be a consideration for you. There is adequate break periods and a half hour lunch period as well. The break area and bathrooms are satisfactory and there is a local bus stop for anyone who may have public transportation needs. Overall a sterling review from a guy (me) who is somewhat stingy with such ratings. I will update accordingly and fairly. For privacy concerns as they relate to my work I have altered my name. I do not want any credit for a good review or blame for a poor one. Also of note, Jeff in operations (Boss), and Mitch have also been especially helpful in acclimating us new trainees to the company.
