At check in Jennifer said I had to pay a deposit for the room. I ve stayed here many times and never paid a deposit. The hospital our daughter has surgeries through pays. I stated I never have to pay and Jennifer said well there s a Jazz Festival this weekend. I asked her what that had to do with me. She said she could rent my room for a higher rate. I told her she couldn t bc I have a reservation. She said she doesn t have to let me stay. The room was paid for at this point. It was after 5pm. She said it didn t matter they could rent the room at a higher rate if I didn t want to pay the deposit. I gave her my card bc it was late and we had spent all day at the hospital. Then it got worse! That woman put in a wake up call for 6 am!!!! I NEVER asked for one. She did it to be a jerk! So with a 3 yr old, 4 month old and a 9 month old what do you think happened at 6 am? Chaos!!! Worst experience and treatment from a hotel! And I m a platinum member of Best Western! Seriously furious! It s their loss bc they have a contract with the hospital. Which during their slow seasons keeps them in business. What would happen if they lost that contract bc of how they treated us?
