The Rio - Antirrio Bridge or, officially, the "Charilaos Trikoupis" Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that was completed and put into operation in 2004 through which the connection between Rio and Antirio was achieved as well as the connection of the Peloponnese with western mainland Greece and up and wider with the rest of Europe It is part of the Ionian Road and was built by the French company Vinci.
