We have just spent a week at the Los Angeles County Fair exhibiting livestock. It is a tough week of wrestling animals and controlling the kids who raise them. We share a camp area with hundreds of people working at everything: from artisans to concessions to carnival rides, the folks who fuel them go through those gates. At one gate, we met a maid named Marian. Despite the crazy hours, and endless flow of cars with special passes, folks with different badges, and belligerent people trying to go where they weren't allowed to, Marian was lovely and friendly.....every single day. Most of your other staff was great, but Marian gets my vote as your fairest of this Fair!
