Purchased my new 2016 Mustang GT here. My salesperson was Brian Long. Low to no pressure sales, just a very through presentation of the benefits of the car and the Elder ford Dealership. I have had the car right at one year now and everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and very customer service oriented. Would I buy another car from them? YES!!

I walked into Elder ford looking for a Mustang and what I walked out with was beyond my expectations thanks to Krystal Crowder. Not only did she help me find the perfect vehicle, she made the usually dreadful car buying experience a truly positive one. Krystal was extremely patient and listened to our needs and concerns. Thank you Krystal for being great at what you do and thanks to Elder Ford for having such a wonderful person as part of their sales staff!! If anyone is in looking to purchase a vehicle, I would strongly recommend they visit Krystal at Edler Ford....they will not regret it!

Don t buy a Ford vehicle. I bought a Ford Fusion 2014 and had nothing but problem. First the drive sent was not working right. Took it back three time to have it fix, still today my sent belt alarm doesn t go off. Second problem I told the service department at Edler Ford in Tampa that the car didn t take off all the time it would hesitate. They told me all we check can t find nothing tell the Engine just stop working. It took two weeks to find the problem the engine was defected even tell this day I don t know what was all wrong with it. But new engine was put in. Third problem my sent belt would lock where I couldn t but it on to drive. And now here number at number four my wheel locks and wheel bolts are going bad because according to the service manage at Edler Ford we know about this problem and Ford knows and there a class action lawsuit but there nothing we can do. So know I m going to have to spend money on a problem. Please rethink paying a Ford vehicle and look at something diff.

I hate car dealers, but Elder Ford is a 5star in my book. They didn't push me into a vehicle, they just gave me what I asked for. When they didn't have what I wanted, they just upgraded the package and worked down the price. This will be the only place I purchase vehicles from.

We had an outstanding experience at Elder Ford - and they are all about proving top-notch customer service! We were warmly greeted at the door by Tom Strickland and John Weicherding, who we had been in touch with online earlier in the day : ) Despite arriving 20 minutes before closing, Tom and John (and the Financial Department) patiently worked with us to work numbers on our trade and where we wanted to be monthly - and be able to comfortably drive away in our new Explorer! Tom, John and Joshua Seith (in Finance) stayed almost two hours after closing to make certain we were happy, satisfied with our purchase and felt comfortable knowing all paperwork- and future car care - would be handled by the outstanding staff at Elder Ford! We are thrilled knowing we have a lifetime guarantee on our new vehicle, and we will definitely be bringing it to Elder Ford for all maintenance! We were made to feel like VIPs from our first step in the door. Knowing Rob Elder personally (an awesome guy!), we can share that his dealership - and all who work there - are a true reflection of his personality...honest, fair, caring and true to their word. I went to Elder Ford to get a couple recall parts replaced. I was amazed at how well Lee Oztolaza handled the fix. My wife was sick and driving back and forth to drop me off and pick me up was a hassle. Without me bringing this up, Lee got wind and arranged for a Lyft to come get me and ordered a rental car to use during the fix. She went above and beyond to help make my experience worth it. Not to mention, they washed my car upon picking it up. Lee then explained the the mechanic notes, and the extra checks they did to ensure the car was safe. Lee made all the difference!!

My experience with Elder Ford has really been an u...

My experience with Elder Ford has really been an up and down one, ending on an up note of course. They could order the car I wanted and helped me customize it, so an up. Lack of knowledge about the car and upgrades that can be don to it, down. They took what I had to say to heart and learned more about their cars. They got experts to make comments or commitments instead of non-experts. The GM was great in making this happen and actually gave me his cell number to call if I ever needed any help with my car or trying to do the last bit off modifications to it. I changed out my instrument cluster and needed the car reprogrammed. I called the GM and he as well as Shaun Sharma took extremely great care of me. I told them the car would be there at 10:00 a.m., but the tow truck driver from the custom shop my car was at didn't drop it off until 1:30 p.m. I called the GM to let him know the car was there and all the GM said was "on the way to the service department and we got it". Because of the experience I had with them, Shaun wanted to ensure my car was done right and stayed with it the whole time. My car is all done, very fast, and looks great! If you are looking for a Ford, you can go anywhere. If you are looking for a dealership that treats you like family and willing to go that extra mile to ensure you are satisfied, go to Elder!

***Also notice they don't care about helping their customers, every response to a complaint on here is the same, they just copy and paste the same response saying sorry every time.

I previously gave Elder 5 stars. After dealing with their service department I m dropping it to 1, wish I could go to 0. I had my oil changed and they rotated my tires. After they did this my tires became unbalanced. I returned to have the issue fixed and had to wait over 4 hours for a simple tire balance, and then I was charged over $50 which is double the price normal places charge. After I got my car I left and heard a loud scraping sound coming from the bottom of my car, they had not properly attached my skid plate. I emailed management and they said sorry...did not try to rectify the issue at all. I had to cancel 2 appointments that day so it cost me money. Unless they can find a way to fix the situation I will not be returning or purchasing another vehicle from them.

Buyer beware they will not keep promises made by the sales team. My 40k 4x4 lifted truck that i have had for almost a year still can not go off road due to tire rub.i was walking away after the test drive and some other sales guy chased me down and promised they could fix the rub. They never did and told me they said no such thing when i brought it back in. The only option was to cut out the break vents by a 3rd party vender as the service center is a different company and they would not do it because that would potentially damage the breaks and void the warranty. The sales team has this modification done all the time according to them so beware of buying any from truck from Elder that is not 100% stock .i had 2 inch smaller tires put on after the truck being there a week which i got a discount on but still paid them $500. Pick up the truck and yup the tires still rub. This past saturday the service center refused warranty work that another local ford dealer will happily cover and is covering. Sales, service, and parts are all 3 different companies and are not obligated to fulfill any promises made by one another and they don't. I should have known better than to go back and try again, but i did, shame on me this. They also reset your computer and print the oil change sticker to half the required miles so that anyone who does not verify will end up paying them for twice the amount of required oil changes. I have never seen a dealer do this yet they have done it twice in a row now. None of my other cars Mazda or kia have ever done this. My mx5 RF is also 10k between oil changes and Mazda sets my computer and sticker at 10k not 5k like Elder ford does. There has been no interaction with anyone at any of these 3 separate companies that has ended positively. Yes i am still missing the extra keys i was promised and many of their services are not even available on weekends like the auto butler service for my seats that ended up revealing a massive amount of stains about 2 months after i took it. And yes those stains all over the seats were another deal breaker that i was promised would be fixed and they were just temporarily covered. So cost of ownership goes up again dealing with elder as i have to rent a car or take the day off work to have certain things dine. My only hope is that i can save at least one person from the same experience by them reading this and going literally anywhere else.

My wife and I recently purchased a new F-150 from Elder Ford. Our sales rep Demetrios Mina, our sales rep, made our buying experience such an easy process. We were initially looking for a late model used truck. However Demetrios was able to get us into a 2016 model for only a little more. He followed up on all aspects of the purchase and delivery. If he did not immediately know something he researched until he found the answer! We knew he wanted us to be happy with our decision. I definitely would recommend Elder Ford and Demetrios as your sales rep!

Great buying experience! This team worked very hard to make sure we got EXACTLY what we wanted! Great selection to. The GM Dan is very involved with the guests, salesman Maurice and Cesar made sure we where comfortable and we left smiling! Service and parts..... 2nd to none! Look forward to my first service. Spoke to a Toby in parts, very knowledgable which I expected after meeting his director Carlos. Carlos you run a well oiled machine! Thanks to the entire team!!!!!

Although the deal did not work out I respect the way I was handled. A special thank you to Frano who did all he could to get everything arranged. It was only a misprint in accessories that caused the transaction to be canceled. Really no ones fault.

However, in spite of that I can attest to the courtesy and attitude that every employee of Elder showed me. I don't think anyone could do better.

Was apprehensive becuse my credit was beyond bad, even with the problems with my past, Ed and Michelle went above and beyond to get me a 2013 Focus and again, I could not be happier. I went in there after an accident and my sales man Christian Rips was there for weeks helping me with paperwork and get me the car of my dreams for a price I can afford. I rarely take the time to write a bad review even when the warranted however this company tops the cake when it comes to bad service.

I am actually shocked as this company has great reviews. They got to be paying people to write these because the bs they were pulling today was unreal.

I went in planning to purchase a new 2017 F350 Platinum. I first got a KBB guaranteed offer for my trade in of $44,350 and Elder was the participating dealer. I then found, from Elder the truck I was looking for listed for $70,555. . After 90 minutes of looking at the options etc. the sales person (wont mention names) presented an offer at full MSRP. and and low balled me on my trade by $5000 under the guaranteed value. Mind you this is after I stated multiple times the listing online for $70,555. Now her manager comes out and is still showing me a price of full MSRP basically ignoring the fact they are listing the truck online for $70k. I make an offer of $68 and he says were far off and wants to know where I came up with my offer. I explain its based off his listed price and now I want to know why he is presenting me the MSRP price and not the advertised price and furthermore why is he offering $5000 less for my trade when every other participating dealer is honoring the price.

He has the nerve to tell me "By law he is required to start at the MSRP"
What? I thought I misheard him? Again he tells me "by law". What moronic sales trainer taught him to say that? Do people really fall for that kind of stupid tactic or what? Maybe this manager was a bit slow. And I wont get into the ridiculous financing numbers they presented. At this point I wouldn't buy from them even if they honored the deal they were advertising.

I decided my time is more important to me than saving a few hundred dollars and went back to the first dealer I visited and had them find me the truck I wanted. I ended up paying Elders advertised price for the same truck, got KBB instant cash trade in offer. In all of 15 minutes I made a deal another hour to get approved at 2.2% . The only down side is that I have to pick up the truck tomorrow since they had to locate one from another dealer. No big deal, they took my trade and gave me a loaner until I pick up tomorrow.

Lesson is that Car shopping doesn't have to suck, but if you value your time as I do, better to stay far away from Elders gimmicks. Take there advertised price and go to any other dealer. Chances are they will honor it without all the gimmicks.

Horrible experience overall. I had an appointment at 12 to look at a car and everything was completely disorganized, nobody even knew where the car was. Additionally, the listed price on the Internet for a vehicle I was looking at suddenly jumped $7,000 which is absurd and laughable. Save your time and try somewhere else, these people do not care about their customers.

I have purchased many vehicles in my time from many dealerships. Elder Ford of Tampa was rated top on my list of a great experiences. I traveled from North Carolina to purchase my new BMW. If your in the market for new or used I highly recommend anyone to call them first. I dealt with the Manager Nick Drago who knows how to make a car buying experience wonderful. Our salesman was Ed Michaels who was quick at getting everything completed . The completion of financing to paperwork was done to my satisfaction. Thanks Elder Ford for my new vehicle.

I've went to other Ford dealerships(bill Currie, Brandon Ford) and they don't even come close to elder. The finance department is honest and britney help me out on both of my vehicles. Elder Ford is simply the best.

I have been with Ford for the last 3 years but I am from Jersey. I wanted to stay in the Ford Family, so I found Elder Ford where I now reside in Tampa, Fl. From the moment, that I walked in the door, there was nothing but genuine smile and care. I met with Austin and he stayed with me from start to finish. He worked with me and my Budget and got me the car that I am in love with. I also met with Josh (my Finance guy, he was very thorough which I appreciate) and then lastly I met Robo. He was simply amazing, explaining the ins and outs of my new vehicle. He even called me today as a follow up to see if I had an additional questions, which was amazing. I love my Ford family back in Jersey but I am definitely loving my new Ford Family down here in Tampa Florida. Its close and very pleasant. I would recommend Elder Ford to anyone.

Had a rocky start with the quick lane running me around to get the special tire I had ordered. It was frustrating to say the least. Once my tired did show up I was called I was able to get it in and changed the Technician was Careful and fast with the tire. So once the appointment was set all went smooth. I also received a call later in the day from a manager named mike to follow up and apologize for all the inconsistencies I had to go through to get in. I appreciate the courtesy and will be back. I will say it s better to set an appointment and make sure you follow up with them on all parts you need they are very busy in the quick lane.

Just completed 2 days of a transaction with Mr. Be...

Just completed 2 days of a transaction with Mr. Bert Martinez and Elder Ford. The entire transaction was transparent, comfortable, and why this is the third new vehicle we have purchased from this dealership.

This is the first time I have had the opportunity to walk in with a "shopping list" of needs for a vehicle. Bert was quick to answer questions, and more importantly straight forward when he didn't know an answer and immediately sought out the correct answer. Bert worked with us to hit every requirement on our list, and brought us the exact product we requested, and at a great price, within 24 hours even though our very specific needs weren't filled with anything in their vast inventory on site. Bert was quick to make sure that he and his employer honored our giving Elder Ford our first call with our vehicle needs by offering incentives not offered by other local dealers.

We received personal service from everyone at the dealership, right up to management who came to meet us in person and took steps to expedite our experience.

At no point did we feel pressured with regard to purchasing anything we weren't interested. We felt we were being treated honestly and respectfully through the entire process.

As an awesome added bonus, Ms. Jody Fowler and a gentleman in training stopped by during our purchase process and took care of updating our current Allstate policy with our new vehicle. They didn't change our agent, they simply updated our policy, a step which used to take calling our agent after a vehicle purchase, thus eliminating a step in the process and allowing us to get out and enjoy our new vehicle sooner! This is a great service by Elder Ford, one that we understand is not offered by any other dealer in the Tampabay area currently-showing that this dealership's owner really does go the extra step for their customers. This was well done, Rob Elder, and tremendous "icing on the cake."

We will continue to give Elder the first shot at meeting our future vehicle needs.

I walked into Elder Ford of Tampa on a whim, just looking for a quote, trying to see if they could beat a quote I had gotten from another dealer. I wasn't planning to walk with out a new 2017 Ford Focus SE that day but Ali was extremely helpful, and willing to fight for what I wanted as well as what worked best for my budget. As a first time leaser, this deal was painless and exciting! Everyone, including management was helpful and friendly. I would recommend Elder Ford any day!

It started with my online searches just checking into some trucks to see how much they were going for. Caroline contacted me and encouraged me to visit the dealership. When I finally made it there she able to determine what I wanted and what I was able to get quickly. She works with a great team. She was not a pushy salesperson but was also not giving up on me easily. Ultimately, my experience was better there than at any other dealership I have dealt with.

I just experienced the best in buying a car. Her name is Britany. Truely a Professional. She made it easy from viewing to test driving, to sorting the finance. So polite and patient in explaining the whole issue of purchasing.
Above all. The time factor involved. We all know in the past you could take up to 4 hours and more. Done and dusted in 2hour 20 minutes. My insurance agent kept us waiting for a while, which was disappointing. Other than that which had nothing to do with "Elders" the experience was excellent. I found who ever I spoke to, real friendly. Thank You Britany.

I purchased a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium. In the fact finding stage I found Elder Ford's website very helpful and it allowed me to save specific vehicles and set up alert notifications. Brandon Allen was the Sales Associate who did a great job of reaching out to me to see what questions I had. He was patient and respectful of my time as I tried to find a date and time to come to the dealership.

Once there Brandon immediately found the car I was looking for, answered all my questions and I thought did a great job of showing and creating value. His Sales Manager was great to work with as was Michelle in Finance.

I highly recommend Elder Ford after my great experience.

Staff obviously knows what they are doing and are well organized however can t read their customers leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Thank You!!! We went to Elder Ford to help our daughter buy her first car. Best experience buying a car with the nicest and most helpful staff. Great experience all around from the large selection of new and used cars to test driving several cars to financing and then driving home with a new car. Austin Was fantastic!! He spent so much time making sure our daughter knew the car inside and out and she felt so comfortable and safe in her new car. Financing was a breeze and the price could not be beat. Fair and honest! You have a our business from now on!

Updates review. I vowed to never return to this dealership because the front of the house on the service side was such a mess. However I had a flat tire and needed my Ford fusion towed and the closest Ford dealership was elder Ford. I will say what I thought would be a disaster was refreshingly the opposite. My service tech Marty was very helpful. He had my car looked at in a timely manner he provided me updates and when they had to keep the car over night he provided me a loaner. He helped with my paperwork and overall was an awesome service tech. I will return as long as techs like Marty are there to look out for customers and their needs.

You guys deserve the praises for this step in the right direction.

Yes I was treated very fairly by Elder Ford Lee Roy my salesmen which show me a 06 Silverado for a price I still can't believe they sell me that truck that t what a nice truck everybody treated me very nicely down there and I would definitely buy another vehicle from them

Had to have my sunroof replaced on my 2013 F-150 L...

Had to have my sunroof replaced on my 2013 F-150 Lariat due to track failure/binding at 26500 miles. Luckily, it was covered under Ford factory 3 year warranty with 4 months left. Ford knows the sunroofs in these models are faulty and issued a Technical Service Bulletin in Feb '14, but no recall. The problem happened in a Friday evening and Elder Ford did a great job accommodating me the next morning on a Saturday, though they didn't troubleshoot the issue till Monday. They quickly diagnosed that I needed a new track assembly and procured it from another dealer in the local area. The sunroof was fixed the next day. Again, they were quick and kept me up-to-date on everything they did. The Bad...Upon arrival to pick up the truck, the headliner had multiple dirty spots to which the service director waited till I was accepting the truck to clean them. Me being the picky guy that I am, inspected everything with a fine-toothed comb. The A-pillar on the drivers side was loose (broken clip)and there was a tear in the sliding sun shade as well as the shade guide was destroyed. The service manager stated they would order and replace with no problem, which was great, but I'm not so sure they would have said anything had I not pointed it out. When I got home I ran water over the roof and checked for leaks...it was leaking! I adjusted the sunroof glass myself to avoid water stains from frequent afternoon showers before I could take it back to Elder. Bottom line, I had a problem, they fixed it swiftly with some issues, but they made it right by taking care of the problem. Customer service has been great through the whole process.

This is our 4th vehicle we have purchased from Elder Ford. Every time is always a joy and no headaches! I have to give a special shout out to Mr. Kit Kittles as he went above and beyond helping us find a perfect 1st car for our Daughter. Mr. Kittles is awesome and I would not hesitate to call him up for the next purchase! I would also like to mention Mr. Jim Tackett as he has been there for our family throughout the years. I can't say enough about him. From the sales staff to customer service and the service team, they are spot on when it comes to taking care of their customers. Great Job!

I am very displeased that I have to write a negative review about an employee at Elder Ford. I myself purchased a used car from them for my youngest son about a year ago and had a great experience with them, so much that I recommended them to my mom for her Ford Fusion. Just a few days ago my mother took her car there for an oil change and as most moms she had a coupon. Her car only has 55 thousand miles on it and has never been over 45 MPH as she is 83 years old and doesn't do much driving, needless to say the car is in A plus perfect condition. . My Mother was approached by Andrew Gentile Service Adviser who convinced her that her car needed all these extra things done to it such as radiator flush and changing the transmission fluid that had already been done a couple of years ago plus much more. He made my mother nervous that her car would fail if all these extra items we're not done.
So basically a $40.00 oil change turned in to over $500.00 Dollar charge. My mother was pressured by Andrew in to purchasing all these extra items her car did not need. When my mom got home she called me to tell me what had happened. I hope you read this Andrew, my mom lives on Social Security and DID NOT need to spend this amount of money and I wonder if your commission was worth your integrity as you took advantage of a senior. Elder Ford has lost my and all of my family's business until the day you are hopefully FIRED for what you have done.
I understand that services were rendered and the better people there need to be paid but these prices are through the roof. I think it would only be fair if Elder Ford refunded my mother half of the amount back for what was done. The ball is in your court Elder Ford, what say you.

Car shopping for twin girls is not my idea of a Saturday well spent, but the associates at Elder Ford made it worth it. As soon as we walked in we were pleasantly greeted by Xavier Anglin. He cordially showed us around and was very informative about the different cars we had in mind. He did his best to meet our family's need and suggest alternatives in case we were unhappy about something. Although we did not make a decision on that day, (blame the twins) we know who to see at Elder Ford when we are ready to make a decision. Thank you Xavier!

Once again Tom Strickland at Elder Ford of Tampa did it again I was at Elder Ford 4 months ago and he sold me my new truck three weeks ago he sold my son his new 2020 Ford fusion and just last week he sold my wife a new 2020 Ford Mustang Gt 5.0 this guy is on top of his game I recommend Tom Strickland at Elder Ford of Tampa to everyone I promise you Tom will make it happen

Brandon Allen was very polite and respectable. I hate going to dealerships, but he was very knowledgable and I felt comfortable. I didn't feel as though I was being pressured to buy a car like most salesman tend to do. I will definitely be coming back here again for future purchases.

Esric Davis, and Martin the sales floor manager were excellent. The quality of service from them put all other dealerships to shame in the area. We are driving away in our second vehicle from them...
