NB - Would have given it 3.5 if it were an option. We went to Barnsdale hall hotel for a family event - we opted for a delux room which was a good size, clean and had a lovely view out to Rutland water. The breakfast was pretty good - plenty of it and a good variety. We hired a private dining room and were well looked after, my wife and I really liked our food and the service was really attentive. The facilities are great with plenty of sports activities to choose from and the hotel itself is well situated. It's a bit expensive for a 3 star hotel though and the decor is a bit dated, especially in the restaurant and bar area.
