Excellent happy hour with great food and drink prices.

Everything was good there but not amazing. At their price point I did expect amazing.

Had Rib Eye Steak and surprised it comes with no sides for $48! I ordered asparagus amd mashed potatoes for $12 add. If they included the two sides would be reasonable but still pricey. Decent but overly expensive.

This was probably the best steak I have ever had in my life. Period.

Cozy little places decorated with pictures of Ecuador. Liked everything we ordered the 3 times we have been there, especially one of the daily soups-vegetable peanut soup.

One of the last white tablecloth restaurants in the metro.

It's been a few years since I've visited Murray's, but it's always a great place to entertain clients or guests. I've never once had a bad meal here, the steak is absolutely delectable!

WOW, Amazing food. The staff is extremely professional and talented. This is by far the Restaurant in the nation. The bread basket alone was unbelievably so good. The steaks are by far the absolute best you can get. Butter knife special yummmm! If you have not been here, go try it immediately.

Steak flight was a great way to try a big portion of the menu, and easily shareable. Great location, great food.

My LAST visit to Murray's about 6 years ago for lunch was abominable. The lunch steak served to me was well aged...to the point of tasting rotten. After 2 bites I stopped. I will not return, I make a better steak at home.

This is a review of Happy Hour and game day specials. Part of me doesn't want to share what a gem this spot is. The bar (unlike the dining room) has a "come as you are" vibe on game days! You will not believe the special they run on game says - steak burger + fries + beer all for $12. It has to rival the best deals downtown

For a mall the tree-tip platter was good and had a lot of flavor.There was no need for additional seasoning.They had samples while you were in line so all in all it was a good experience.

Classic steak house and Minneapolis landmark since 1946. You can't go wrong with the Silver Butter Knife 28 oz NY strip cut by their in-house butcher. Also, not to be missed, at Target Field you can get a Murray's steak sandwich with horseradish sauce.

Worst dining experience and food not all that great.

An old school steakhouse. A staple of downtown Minneapolis culture. Great place for entertaining clients.

Had reserved curbside pick up due to Covid for 5 PM a few days prior. A blizzard of thunder snow was predicted so I emailed them the night before to see about perhaps an earlier pick up. Super quick email response that suggested I call in the morning which I did and our perfect dinner was cheerfully and professionally ready at 12 noon as requested. Everything was delicious and top-notch as the restaurant. Highly recommend!

I went here on a first date and was somewhat taken aback by the place. Normally when it comes to someone I d like to impress I visit the restaurant before I bring them, but based upon the reviews I figured it should be passable. I was mistaken... My steak which I ordered medium rare was medium well and tough; for $50 I expect them to at least cook it properly. My dates vegetables were undercooked and didn t seem to impressed with the meal. Finally the bread and pretzel I am personally offended that someone was under the impression that I would eat that. It reminded me of store bought croutons and the pretzel was like something from the freezer isle. Do yourself a favor and go to Manny s or Ruth Chris.

Visited with a group of fourteen. Called two days ahead to reserve a table for lunch. They quickly took my info and we were set.

Seated our party promptly in a private room. Table service was great and attentive.

Food was done perfectly. People had a wide array of plates and everyone was satisfied.

Will return again.

This place has great food at half the cost of Mannys. Their 6oz lunch filet was delicious. I would highly recommend.

Truly brilliant steaks and some of the finest accompaniments I've ever seen on a menu! The service is the best I've ever found and attentive! The setting is relaxed and refined with a welcoming Vibe. You may want to dress up when you go here, not because it is required but because it seems right!

This restaurant is the one I like best. I visit a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very cordial and the cuisine they place on your table is so appetizing. I am always happy to have a decent meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I ve been to every major steakhouse in Minneapolis and the food and experience was by far the best at Murray s. Rick (executive chef) is the best in the business!!!

We were there last nite for our 44th wedding anniversary. Our server Greg was the best!!! We had never been to Murrays and it was such a great treat. The steak was absolutely delicious and the reviews are right they treat you like royalty. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special and thank you for the dessert it was the best! We will be back!!

Worst restaurant I've ever been in. I felt like a senior celebration steak had nothing to do with what Minneapolis has to offer

Best steak in MN, recommend the silver butterknife.

We got a meal curbside for a special occasion. Everything was excellent. I think the Key Lime Pie was the best I have ever had. Thanks Murray s!

Fantastic steaks as usual! We were well taken care of. Our server was excellent, anticipating our every need. She was assisted by Frank, a phenomenal 23 year Murray's veteran, who is very efficient, knows his stuff and is a delight while taking care of us. He adds a lot to the experience. A true Murray's treasure! We highly recommend Murray's!!

Minneapolis staple who time after time does NOT disappoint!

Service was prompt, professional and courteous. The steak sandwich and fries were meh. Cesear salad was not differentiating for a high end steakhouse. Decent wine by the glass list and pricing.

Was t a huge fan of their famous crisps and the silver butter knife steak was good but not great. The staff is amazing and their NY strip is to die for.

Ribeye was incredible. Best steak I've had yet with Manny's as a close 2nd.

The service was too notch and the food was even better. I hosted a client and they loved every aspect. I couldn't have made a better choice!

They have been doing the basics well since 1946..wedge salad, baked potato, steak, cocktail.

So disappointed. Murrays was our fav steak place in town. We went for my birthday dinner. Our waitress couldn't explain certain items on the menu and when our tri of steaks tasting was brought out, she didn't even tell us which cut was which. I was watching other servers in the area and their tables were getting so much more attention. We ordered the creamed spinach and it was the worst we'd ever had. Was there even cream in it?! When my husband and I don't take leftovers home you know it's not good. Murrays.. what happened to you?! I don't think we will be back. And for my friends who I normally refer there I won't be anymore.

Everything about Murray's is amazing. You will not regret it.

First off. What is that smell? It smells of old wet towels and blue cheese. We really thought about leaving but we are not rude people and have already been sat. It did make it hard to have an appetite so we decided to order stuff that could be made quickly. I ordered the salmon dish. The flavors were great but my salmon was way over cooked. Almost dry. I didn't taste my friends food but he said his was great! I with love to try them again but the smell needs to be addressed.

Had a good experience here with my daughter. The food was served quickly and the customer service is just good. Prices are affordable.

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. First time here, and my bride and I would be happy to return in the future! Highly recommended

This is 5 Star dining at its finest! I highly recommend the Chateaubriand for two! I couldn't say enough for my server Jenny as she is most knowledgeable of the entire menu and all of the beverages! She brings your dining experience way to the next level! I can't wait to go again!!

The food was delicious and the waiters weren't hovering.

They were very conscientious about social distancing which was appreciated as it was my grandfather's birthday we were there to celebrate.

The silver butter knife steak is a bit pricey at $110, but it's above and beyond delicious and it was so big that after we had eaten our fill my mother and I took over half of it home as leftovers.

As a side note, they had the tastiest caesar salad I've ever had as well.

Definitely going again.

Very expensive but both times I've been to Murray's, it's been the best steak I've ever had. Tonight, I had the blue cheese crusted filet and I can't recommend it enough. The cocktail menu is also exceptional. The wait staff has been fantastic both times I've been here. They really treat you like you're important and offer great service.

A step back in time. Sumptuous roast beef sandwich for lunch left me with no room for dessert.

Lunch New York Strip was absolutely amazing. Our server Abi was great. Possibly the best food and service I have ever had. We will definitely be back.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.........WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! We had a private room reserved for my brothers bachelor party and the staff felt that we were consuming too much alcohol and cut off our drinks. This was the most unprofessional and inappropriate act of customer service I have ever been apart of. We did not have any complaints from other customers in the restaurant as well as we had a designated driver for the entire group which dropped us off and picked us up from Murray's. We were so disgusted with the lack of customer service and dis-respect, our group of 25 plus people left without eating a single steak. They had prepared all of the 20 plus steaks and we ready to be served, but after having our drinks taken away from us for no apparent reason, we lost our appetite and made a reservation at Manny's, (who accommodated us with welcoming arms).
