This is an incredibly well-run, customer-focused local hardware store. Walk in and within 30 seconds someone will ask you what they can help you with. Don't ask "what aisle is x in?", tell them what you are trying to accomplish and someone will help you through the whole process. If you've never fixed a running toilet, or need to epoxy a soap dish to shower tile, or need to rent a chainsaw, this is the place for you. Even their teenaged staff is more knowledgable than anyone you'll find at Lowes or Home Depot. They might not compete on price/selection with the big boxes but they are miles ahead on service. If they don't have it they will order it for you. Plus the owners are long time Oxford residents and know everyone in the building trades for any projects that are more than DIY.
