This is review for the Dynomax Inc. machine shop in Wheeling. In a nutshell it was great company to get your foot in the door because I learned quite a bit (in my case quality control) but in the long term don't plan you career there. They roll from hiring spree to layoff spree in matter of months. There aren't many people there who worked more than few years. Just incompetent greedy management is the main problem. If you're a kid (like I was) looking into MFG career out of 2 year community college this place is a great start but to make the best out of it cram as much MFG stuff as possible because it is likely you might get a pink slip a year or two while there. If you are looking into moving to Dynomax from other machine shops better not. Besides aforementioned issue with job stability if you specialize in FANUC, HAAS, or Mazatrol machine controllers this ain't it. To be fair they have some FANUC-driven machines but most of their machine control inventory is lousy Heidenhain controllers. So that comes out 5 stars for training/experience but 1 star fo long term career & machines. So that averages at 2.5 but I can only give 2 or 3 stars. When it was going good I had great time. That is why 3 is fair I think. Hope this helps.
