staff would not change my room despite the fact my roommate was violent, homicidal, and incredibly manipulative. my mother had even called the facility and asked them to change it. they hung up immediately. when I was crying they didn t want me in the activity room and put me in a dark room to cry in. Didnt even ask if I was okay. They d keep kids in seclusion for days. They would not help with the issue with my room mate to the point I had an episode. They did not comfort me during this time at all and instead would isolate me from others. They never asked if I was okay, and acted like I was going to incite violence when I was mad. 0/5. Don t bring your kids to this godawful place. Only good thing that happened was a medication change. Not adding an extra star for that, this place added to my previous trauma from hospitals. The mental health system in this state is disgusting. TDLR: treated like a soon to be prisoner instead of a suicidal patient. wasn t given treatment. There are no coping skills that are taught. Nothing.
